Acne Treatments, Acne Cure
Acne treatments of various description are continually being developed to fight acne amongst teens and adults alike. Approximately 90% of all adolescents and 25% of all adults experience acne in their lifetime. Often, many believe they are forced to live with this condition, but more often there are acne treatments available to everyone.
Acne is not life threatening, but it can lead to physical and emotional scars. Fortunately, there are a number of acne cures that can aid in removing or diminishing the onset of acne in the future.
Topical creams and lotions are the most commonly used for acne control. They are relatively safe, produce good results, and are very affordable. Another acne solution commonly used by women is Ortho Tri-Cyclen; an oral medication used as birth control and acne alike. Antibiotics have also been prescribed, but have become increasingly useless as skin bacteria becomes resistant. Some side effects of topical creams include redness and irritation. Some side effects of Ortho Tri-Cyclen can cause stomach upset, light sensitivity and yeast infections in women.
Despite the drawbacks of some of these acne remedies, the majority of acne cases can be treated or cured by using any one of these methods.
