Get Rid of Acne
Fortunately, is it possible to get rid of acne. The first step needed to get rid of acne is to control it with treatment.
The purpose of any acne treatment is to prevent new acne breakouts. Improvement takes time, however, so existing blemishes must heal on their own. If after two to three months, your acne has not improved, you may need to make changes to your acne treatment. Consult your dermatologist to determine which acne solution will be right for you.
Occasionally, a rash can form from the use of certain treatments used to get rid of acne. Make-up, lotions, or oral medications can all contribute to this. It is therefore important to notify your dermatologist of any medications, lotions, or acne skin care products you may be using.
After acne has been properly treated, the skin may still appear red. According to most dermatologists, this is generally nothing to be concerned about. The red marks on the skin are called erythematous macules. They will usually fade in four to six months, but may get temporarily redder when exercising or when the skin gets hot. This is not a scar and is simply part of the process of getting rid of acne.
